Your Zerodha trades
—
Keep this tab open during market hours (laptop must not sleep). The app checks every minute, about 3 seconds after each 1-minute candle closes. Orders are never placed by the app itself: "Place order" opens Zerodha's own order window with a LIMIT order filled in - you press Execute there.
Signals today
| Time | Instrument | Trade | Limit price | Target | Stop if close | Status | Action |
|---|
A signal can be ordered for 3 minutes (the order-wait rule). If you do not place it, it is marked "Skipped" and the app carries on as if there is no trade. Once Zerodha shows your order filled, the app follows that trade and holds back new signals for that instrument until your position is closed.

Watches the Nifty watchlist option (the one CE; CE and PE if you choose Buy only or Sell only). A 5-minute option candle whose body opens on one side of its 44 SMA and closes on the other. Trend is not checked. Trade style decides which crossovers show: One CE = bullish (buy) and bearish (sell); Buy only = bullish (green) crossovers only; Sell only = bearish crossovers only.
5-minute 44 SMA crossovers on the Nifty 50 spot chart (information only - nothing is traded here)
| Time (candle close) | Instrument | What happened | Options (CE / PE) at your strike rule | Option for your trade style |
|---|
A 5-minute candle opening on one side of its 44 SMA and closing on the other. The Nifty 50 spot chart is watched. The trend is not checked - every crossover is shown, with a beep and the instrument name spoken. You get an alert and the at-the-money option for your trade style; place your own entry on the chart.

Times are candle start times as on the Kite 1-minute chart. "Signal candle" is the 44 / 200 SMA crossover candle; it is confirmed when it closes, one minute later. Profit / loss = points × rupees per point × lots, before brokerage and taxes.
Strategy rules used: see the Strategy page.
How the strategy works
This page lists every rule the app follows, so you can see what to change. This test build covers Nifty 50 only. To ask for a change, name the step number.
Rules in plain words
Option contracts Zerodha has today
Connect to Zerodha to load the option lists.
Zerodha only keeps data for contracts that are still trading. A day can be backtested only if the contract you would have traded that day is still in this list. Blue = monthly expiry.

Nifty: at-the-money CE (buy on bullish, sell on bearish) with the default trade style. The live app picks the at-the-money contract at the moment of each crossover.
Instruments
| Live signals | Trades | Lots | Lot size (units) | ₹ per point, 1 lot | Round strike to |
|---|
Live signals: untick to stop signals for that instrument. Lots: how many lots each order is for. Lot size: units in one lot (blank = Zerodha's list). ₹ per point: rupees gained or lost per 1 point move for one lot (blank = lot size). Round strike to: the at-the-money strike is the price rounded to this (blank = the value in Strategy numbers, 100).
Zerodha's current lot sizes are shown after the option lists load (Watchlist page).
Alerts
"Check the chart": while you are in a trade, the app warns you when 3 one-minute candles in a row go against your trade (red for a bullish trade, green for a bearish one; a doji counts), or when an against-colour candle closes beyond the 20 SMA. Nifty spot chart. It only warns - it does not change the exit rules.
